Branding

Business concept, brand identity system & style guide, built from scratch (2026)

Hebe Bottles

Bold wines from off-grid vines.

Hebe Bottles is a wine discovery concept: a carefully curated selection of small, independent wine houses from forgotten and underexposed wine countries such as Greece, Slovenia, Croatia, Hungary and Georgia.

The brand was built from scratch, together with Tessa, over a series of workshops. Every session started from something concrete to react to, such as a custom brand survey, a first direction or a draft document, combined with strategic and design expertise. Step by step, the idea grew into a business and brand proposal, and from there into a complete identity system.

The concept

Wine is often sold through expertise, classifications and prestige. Hebe Bottles takes the opposite route: discovery over expertise, story over classification, atmosphere over status. Every bottle comes with a face, a place and a story.

Instead of grape, vintage and appellation, you choose by feeling: Full & Creamy, Wild & Earthy, Dark & Juicy, Fresh & Mineral, or Something Different if you don't know where to start.

The concept grows in three phases: an online shop with around ten small producers, intimate tastings built around a single country (An Evening in Georgia, A Night in Slovenia) and finally a small, owner-run wine bar with warm light, vinyl and Mediterranean bar bites. Somewhere between a Berlin living room, a Mediterranean aperitivo and a vinyl store.

Rebranding: brand & style guide

Shiny Shini

Wear, Shine, Connect.

Shiny Shini makes lightweight, handmade earrings from polymer clay with a glossy epoxy finish, in Borgerhout (Antwerp). The brand already existed; this rebrand brought it together into one warm, joyful and consistent identity.

The rebrand took shape through conversation. Each meeting was followed by a new brand iteration, presented, discussed and refined, and then again, until every element felt right: from the logo and the brand story to the Instagram profile and the concept for a new collection.

The concept

The brand is built around slowness, kindness and a little dopamine: earrings that lift your mood, for a community of 'Shiners' aged 13 to 93.

The logo, two interlocking hearts, is designed to work as a physical stamp. Because sales move from markets and shops to online, the personal, handmade feeling moves to the packaging: every earring card and bag is stamped by hand.

Six simple mould shapes (circle, square, rectangle, triangle, teardrop and hexagon) form the visual language. Colour, texture and finish do the rest. The voice sounds like a friend, not a brand.
